Facebook Update for iPhone
Just downloaded the update for Facebook on the iPhone.
The application is essentially a mimic of the iPhone's main screen with a dashboard of essential Facebook features and a second page where you have the option to bookmark pages and friends.
The full feature list includes:
- Landscape mode
- See upcoming events (including birthdays).
- Page (view and update)
- Complete photo management, photo zoom
- Like and dislike
- Built-in web browser
- Quick call friends (if they have their phone numbers stored)
- Sort friends by last or first name
- Notes
- Search
This list is not exhaustive but so far, a very impressive jump from what Facebook previously offered on the iPhone.
Will RIM's Blackberry be receiving a similarly slick app. I wonder?
